My blog has been unusually silent for a while, because I went on vacation. I am back, and I plan to start blogging again, but for now, I wanted to share with you some highlights from a dive that I got to do while I was in the Dominican Republic. I hope you enjoy them!

About a month ago I went reef diving/spear fishing at night with some friends. Now I’m pretty nearsighted, but I don’t have contact lenses, just glasses, and I surely couldn’t dive wearing those, so needless to say, I didn’t spear any fish (got a sea cucumber though), but I wonder how many octopus were sitting right under my nose that night…
I typically wear glasses for distance vision, but when I dive, I do wear contacts.
